Michael Greve
CEO

Together with his brother, Michael founded WEB.DE and developed the enterprise from its beginnings as Germany's first commercial internet directory into the country's leading provider-independent internet portal in just a few years.

In his role as Head of Technology at Cinetic GmbH and WEB.DE AG the products he and his team developed have won a large number of international technology awards.

Michael Greve studied electrical engineering at Karlsruhe University. Following his pre-degree, he cut short his studies to pursue a career as an entrepreneur.

President

After leading the three investment rounds of WEB.DE AG (venture capital, pre-IPO investment round and IPO at Frankfurt Stock Exchange), he was Managing Director of WEB.DE AG's most important subsidiaries for about 7 years. This included responsibility for the WEB.DE Club and the foundation of WEB.DE's premium service, as well as its telephony business.

Prior to this Frank was in management consulting at PriceWaterhouseCoopers for 5 years.

He graduated as a "Dipl.-Wirtschafts-Ing." (business engineering) at Karlsruhe University and graduated Master of Science in New York.

Heiko Schneefeld
CTO

As the Chief Technology Officer, Heiko is responsible for technology development.

Heiko has held management positions in software development and operations for the past 12 years.

He became acquainted with the company while in charge of technology for the expansion of more.de AG's financial center. Indeed, it was in this role that he was responsible for creating the technological platform for WEB.DE AG's internet-based IPO in 2000, as well as for other large online IPOs such as that of the Deutschen Post AG.

He specializes in modern development techniques and technologies. He graduated in business computer science.

Matthias Hornberger
CFO

Matthias is responsible for Finance, Controlling, Investor Relations & Corporate Affairs.

From 1989 to 1995, Matthias worked at the Dresdner Bank AG where he became the Project Manager for leveraged buy-out financing in the global structured finance division. In 1995 he moved on to the Bankhaus Sal. Oppenheim jr. & Cie. KGaA, with a focus on M&A and IPOs. From 1998 he was responsible in a management role for expanding the banking house's investment business. And it was within the scope of these activities that he was also responsible for the structuring and placement of private equity funds, in addition to a large number of direct investments.

After qualifying in banking, he studied business management in Mannheim and Toronto (Dipl.-Kaufmann).
